RPS-3 to dość skomplikowana w budowie, ale i bardzo ciekawa konstrukcja kuszy hydro-pneumatycznej. Posiada wewnątrz gumowy wąż, który otacza dziurkowaną lufę. I to właśnie rozwiązanie jest przyczyną wielu problemów. Zwykle te kusze nie są pierwszej młodości więc ten element nadaje się często na "dzień dobry" do wymiany. Problem w tym, że trzeba znaleźć jakiś zamiennik, a to nie jest takie proste. Istotna jest średnica, sprężystość oraz rodzaj materiału takiego węża. Jeśli sam sobie ten temat ogarniesz, to powinieneś być z tego sprzętu zadowolony. Nie będzie to jednak łatwe. Jeśli jednak chcesz szybko efektów w postaci sprzętu gotowego do użytku, to może Ci to zająć trochę czasu i powinieneś uzbroić się w cierpliwość. Kilku Kolegów z tego forum dłubało już przy tym sprzęcie, ale nie jest to łatwe. Tą kuszę trzeba pokochać i mieć wiele samozaparcia, żeby przywrócić jej pełną funkcjonalność.
Ja pomimo zaplecza technicznego i sporych możliwości nie zabrałem się jeszcze za ten model sprzętu i raczej się na to nie zanosi. Mam w długiej kolejce popularniejsze i szybsze w serwisowaniu konstrukcje, a ta kolejka ciągle się uzupełnia więc RPS-3 czeka na wolne zasoby, których raczej w najbliższym nie przewiduję.
